2008 Leadership Conference

Well I just got back from the conference in Irvine yesterday! Wow!!! I learned so much that I can bring back to all of you for our Relay. I was given a lot of really good ideas to use and implement. I'm so excited to get started! I thought I'd share a picture with you that we took on our way out yesterday.

Teams, Teams, Teams!!!

Teams: That's how we'll reach our goal! The more teams our Relay has, the more money that will be brought in. We have yet to set team goals and fundraising goals but that doesn't mean we can't start recruiting teams. So for every team or person who brings in a new team they will get an incentive in the way of spirit bucks. $5000 'Team Recruitment' spirit bucks for every NEW team brought in! And which ever team or person has the most Team Recruitment bucks come Relay day, will recieve a prize at closing ceremonies and/or the Wrap Up Party! (The teams have to register, fundraise and show up on Relay day).

"There is no finish line until we find a cure!" I am so happy I got such a great response to this theme! I wasn't quite sure how it would go...but as usual...you guys rock! I'm glad there is so many racing fans out there!
